After failing to find a door latch which suited his needs, Richard Crawford designed and 3D printed the HandleStay.
A door latch which doesn't require the need to bend down or have one hand free to use a hook, and is operated just by using the door handle itself.
Simply affixed to the wall behind the open door, the HandleStay latches on to the door handle, preventing the door from making impact with the wall and holding it securely in the open position. When the door handle is turned, the HandleStay releases and the door can be closed.
Richard has been 3D printing his product and has successfully sold 2000 units via Etsy and Amazon.
